Romme Alpin is about 12 km from Romme Stugby – roughly a 15-minute drive. The resort has 34 slopes and 14 lifts, including six 6-seat express lifts, so there are runs for beginners and experienced skiers alike. Romme Alpin also has a ski school and ski rental. Romme Stugby is a good base for day trips in Dalarna. Borlänge is about 25 km away, with the Aqua Nova water park, the 2047 Science Center and plenty of shopping. Säter and Säters dal, a nature reserve with deep ravines and walking trails, are also close by. In Falun, less than an hour away by car, you can visit the Falun Mine – one of Sweden’s World Heritage Sites.
